Early Dismissals

“Students will be provided the educational opportunities to succeed in life”

On January 29, February 27, March 20, and April 30, Central students will be dismissed at 10:45 am at Central Elementary and Central Middle School.  Central Junior High and Central High School will dismiss at 11:00 am. On those afternoons, Unit 3 pre-kindergarten through fourth grade teachers will be trained in the “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” program.  In schools where it has been implemented, significant improvement has been shown in student achievement, student behavior, and parent involvement.  This training is being provided through a grant from the Adams County United Way and is part of the countywide initiative to train all public and private pre-schools and schools in this program.
