Lockers
- Students will be allowed to clean out their lockers the last ten minutes of 8th
period (2:42 p.m.) today.
Reminder: Report cards will not be handed out to any
student owing Band/IRC fines, or lunch money.
Seniors –Graduation
Photos may be viewed/ordered on line by going to the
web-site www.lifetouchevents.com
and entering the password: CHS 2010(make
sure you put a space between CHS and 2010). Also, any Senior who ordered a senior graduation group
picture may pick it up @ the High School Office.
CSE Track
Sweats - There are some Track sweatshirts/pants left
over that the track team would like to sell.
See Mr. Walter if you are interested.
Late
Bus/Changes
- Annette Tunis
will do her own shuttle Bus #8 then come to High School at 3:30 to do
Paloma Route #23; Dorothy Dieterle will do Sheri Renner #15 in
bus #7 WILL NOT be late; Todd
Plattner will do Clyton Shuttle in bus#10 WILL NOT BE be late; John Schisler will do Rahna
Schwengel route in bus # 11 WILL NOT be late – Transportation Department.
Reminder: Check
the list outside of high school to make sure you are going to Fun City!! The bus will leave @ 9 a.m. on Thursday, May
27th and return @4:30 p.m.
Weight room will be closed this week except for testing day this Friday.
Friday, May 28th will be the Testing Day for all male athletes who will be participating in the Summer Speed and Strength Program. The testing will begin at 7:30 a.m. sharp! Athletes should be there and ready to stretch by 7:30.
The
following students still need to return books to the
IRC: Marshall Steffen & Rabecca Weaver.
Heuby Bowl - Registrations have been extended to Friday, May 28th. Heuby Bowl will be held on Sunday, June 6th.
The
following HS band students each owe $4.00:
Logan Myers, Henry Moellring, Patrick Flesner, Carly Britt.
*Anyone
interested in attending the High School Trapshooting invitational in Carthage
on Saturday, June 5, can call Randy Dieterle at 217-430-3484 or talk to Mr.
Glick.
*Reminder to
all students: Any students owing more than $1.00 will not receive a hot
lunch. Instead they will be offered a lunchmeat sandwich along with milk and
charged 65 cents.
FCCLA: All pie money and
permission slips must be turned into Mrs. Frese by Today.
SPORTS:
Boys
Track: Congratulations
to the Boys 4 X 800 meter relay team of Rory Hibbert, Zane Higgins, Eli
Hibbert, and Austin Kestner and Cody Jefferson in the high jump for advancing
to the state track meet this weekend.
We will be leaving on Wednesday morning.
Girls and Boys
Track and Field - Awards night will be on
Tuesday, May 25th here at CHS.
We will have cake, nuts and drinks.
Softball: Congratulations to the
Lady Panthers on their Regional Championship win!!!! They defeated QND on Saturday.
Their Sectional game will be on Wednesday, May 26th in
Farmington @ 4:30. Bus time is @ 1:15. Practice today and tomorrow after school.
