◊We are going to be wrapping up with seasons!  We will be learning about Christopher Columbus throughout the week! 

 

◊Our nature walk was wonderful!  Thank you to the parents that volunteered their time to help!  We couldn’t have done it without your help!  Thank you to Holly, Trisha, Danielle, and Staci!

 

◊We are going to be reading a story called Chrysanthemum.  It is written by Kevin Henkes.  We will do many fun activities with this story that focus on cause and effect and relating the story to yourself.

Aa, Bb, Dd, Ee, Ff, Gg, Hh, Jj, Ll, Mm, Nn, Oo, Pp, Qq, Rr, Ss, Tt, Uu, Vv, Ww, Xx, Yy, Zz

 

We have worked on these at school, so it would be good to review them at home!

 

◊Please also remember to read your child’s guided reading book at home every night.  You will see some of the same books brought home, but please read them again!  Your child gets to pick a book to take home on 2-3 days a week.  They may like a certain book and bring it home a lot.  I will start taking books out after we have had a chance to read them for a while.
